Worst Tour Ever!!!
This started bad and got progressively worse. We scheduled to be picked up at 9AM and to go on the tour for six hours. The evening before pickup, we received a message stating we would be picket up at 10. We replied stating this was incorrect and it was supposed to be at 9. Yiannis stated that this change was for our convenience....not sure how this was for our convenience when we scheduled fo 9am. The next morning we started our tour with a drive to Lake Vouliagmeni. When we arrived, we were informed the lake was closed. Yiannis stated that no one informed him, but my guess is that he never confirmed with the park if they had an event (looked like they were setting up for a wedding). Yiannis then asked us since we couldn't do this, what did we want to do for the day? As we weren't locals, we had no idea what we could do or what were options. He said there were some great beaches on the way to the Temple of Poseidon. While this wasn't what we signed up for, we agreed. While driving, the mini van was becoming extremely hot. We asked if he could turn on the air conditioning and he said it just doesn't work well. Additionally, He proceeded to drive at high speeds the entire drive (doubling the speed limit in many cases). We arrived at the beach to find a run down area with disgusting water with trash all over. I asked if we could go back to another location I had seen a few miles earlier. He drove us back to that location and we stood on the beach for about an hour. I got in but the water was very cold. We then drove on to the temple. Once again, no air conditioning. My wife and the other tourist in the group asked Yiannis where we would stop for lunch as it was after 1PM now. While the tours says lunch on own, it felt like he hadn't planned on us eating during the tour. We arrived at the temple around 2PM and he informed us they had a place to eat. He asked for us to be back from eating and the tour of the temple by 3PM which seemed to be rushed. We ate a mediocre lunch and then toured the temple. The temple was the only part of this tour that was what we expected. We returned to the car and started our drive back. Once again, no air conditioning and the car was so hot we were sweating. As we arrived back in Athens, I asked again for him to turn on the AC. He finally turned the AC on and it worked fine. He then said he hadn't turned it on higher the entire time because didn't want to be cold and not feel well. The three tourists were not his concern and were miserable so he could feel fine. We arrived back at our hotel at almost 5PM (two hours later than we had scheduled). This was miserable. We are going to request our money back. 0 stars!!!!

An unforgettable morning - absolutely recommended!
I really enjoyed this tour! I am currently traveling alone through Athens and this was without a doubt one of the best experiences of my vacation. From the very first moment I felt incredibly welcome. The driver was already neatly ready, opened the car door for me and greeted me enthusiastically with a friendly "Hi, how are you?". We immediately got along and I felt instantly at ease. He offered me water, told me all about the area, and was also genuinely interested in my stories and experiences. He drove very nicely, played fun music, and the whole ride had a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Our first stop was Lake Vouliagmeni, a beautiful natural lake where you can relax wonderfully. We agreed that I would have about an hour and a half here to look around and enjoy at my own pace. I found the flexibility incredibly nice! It was a bit chilly in October, so keep that in mind if you go in the autumn. I also had to pay for an admission ticket to the lake myself. But as far as I'm concerned, the experience was absolutely worth it! The surroundings are truly beautiful and the peace you experience there is hard to describe. It feels like you become completely zen for a while. After my visit, we took another beautiful photo together with the view over the lake. A tremendously nice memory of this special morning! Then the tour continued and we visited, among others, the Olympic Stadium and several other impressive locations. The nice thing about this excursion is that you are taken everywhere and see a lot of the surroundings in the meantime. You hardly have to arrange anything yourself and can just enjoy everything you encounter. Of course you can stay longer at each attraction at your own discretion, but it is precisely the fact that you can discover so many different places in one morning that makes this tour so fun. My tips for other travelers: Are you going in the autumn? Take something warm, because it can be chilly especially by the lake. * Take into account any extra costs for admission tickets. * Make clear agreements about the time you want to spend at each location. It went fantastically for us! Don't forget to take pictures, because the views are beautiful. Are you traveling alone? Dan this tour is really recommended. Even as a female solo traveler, I felt incredibly welcome and at ease. What made this tour extra special for me was the driver. Not only an incredibly friendly and professional driver, but also just a cozy, interested man who really did his best to make it a nice experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Athens, whether you are traveling alone, with your partner, or with a friend. It is a great way to see a lot in a relatively short time and at the same time relax wonderfully. A beautiful morning, beautiful memories and a fantastic driver. Amazing adventure after a long day of travel!

Poseidon temple and lake swimming
