Verified Not worth the money, rather uninteresting, but no fault of the driver It's difficult to review this fairly.Our driver was pleasant, friendly and helpful, and an excellent, safe driver.However, Thermopylae itself is not a good day out.The 'museum' has almost nothing in it bar a 3D film explaining the battle quite well - for an extra EU3 each!The two monuments are impressive, but other than that, there is nothing to see at the battlefield site.The hot springs 'spa' is just a hydrothermal spring and waterfall.As it was the middle of winter we did not bring our swimming gear, but there was plenty of time had we wanted to sit in the hot sulphurous waterVerified Excellent day out in December Great day out once youve run out of churches to see in Athens. Lake wasnt busy in December as expected, water was a bit chilly ! Temple was ok and a bit expensive for what there is. The guide Thodoris was excellent. Punctual & very professional. Vehicle was very clean. Even managed to keep his cool when two rude guests were 25minutes late returning to the vehicle at the temple. Definitely worth the money.Verified ΙΩΑΝΝΗΣ was the best 5 out of 5. Most blessed are those that get ΙΩΑΝΝΗΣ as a driver. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Made several stops to see the real Athens and the battleground. Recommend.Verified Unforgettable trip! The previous month, I and my friends visited Thermopylae. Our driver, Nikos, was very kind and helpful. He said us for the battle which took place in 480 BC. Both, Corinth Channel and Olympia are worth seeing. The time I had there also was enough to get a good impression of each of these places without the feeling of being in a hurry.After all I definitely can recommend the trip.Verified Unique Tour of Greek Coastline We did this trip with a family of 4 and loved it. Our tour guide George was fantastic. He picked us up at our hotel and took us to Lake Vouliagmeni before the crowds started to arrive, where we spent a few hours swimming the "still chilly" thermal spa. The lake itself was very scenic and nice just to relax with the family after our swim. He gave us a choice of seafood or Greek for lunch so he left us at a Greek restaurant which was included, near the lake and had a wonderful authentic lunch. After eating too much we headed to the Temple of Poseidon which we didn't expect to be as spectacular as it was. We were there for about an hour and left just as the buses started to arrive for sunset so were able to get plenty of pictures without any crowds. We were back in Athens by 6:00 and dealing with some traffic but George was extremely friendly and gave a great deal of insight into life in Greece and how things have evolved during his life there which was very interesting. Our 30-year-old kids were even engaged asking him all types of questions so it turned out to be a great day. The drive along the coast was beautiful, similar to the Pacific Coast drive and he stopped for pictures anytime we asked. There as a fee for both stops that we had to pay, which wasn't that big of a deal as the tour price was a little less than we expected.Verified Easily 5 star This tour offered such a great mix of scenery, relaxation, and history. Lake Vouliagmeni was a perfect place to cool off, and the Heraion site had one of the most beautiful sunset views I’ve ever seen. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the whole group ended up loving it. Our driver Thodoris was professional, smiling the whole time, and very welcoming he kept the van spotless clystal clear drove calmly, and shared interesting insights about the places we visited with so much details. It felt like traveling with someone who genuinely cared about giving us a great experience and make us feel like we was his best firends Everything about this tour felt smooth and enjoyableVerified Very nice! We were very pleased with our transfer! Our time was limited due to a change in our cruiseship boarding time, but they served as well!
