Nafpio, Ancient Corinth, Mycenae, Vytina and Hydra Island

DAY 1
After being picked up from your central Athens hotel, depart via the coastal National Road to the strategic Corinth Canal (short stop). Then, we continue our journey to one of the most ancient cities in the world, Ancient Corinth, an impressive built city that will surely leave you speechless. Afterwards, we will be transferred to the Metochi area and from there by boat (15 minutes duration) we will pass to the picturesque traditional island of Hydra for dinner, a visit to museums and ancient churches and of course free time on the island (note that vehicles are prohibited on the island and that there are several animals, the most famous of which are donkeys). Finally, we will depart in the afternoon for the area of Nafplio for overnight stay.
DAY 2
In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, we will visit Palamidi Castle and then Bourtzi. Then, we will continue our tour, to Epidaurus and visit the Ancient Theater, world famous for its excellent acoustics. Then, proceed and visit the land of Homer’s Golden Mycenae, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mycenae, dating back to the second century BC, was one of the most important centers of Greek civilization and a military stronghold that dominated much of southern Greece. You will see the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion’s Gate, the Royal Tombs, including those of Agamemnon & Clytemnestra, and the Treasury of Atreus, a magnificent 14th century BC. structure. Then departure for Vytina for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3
On the last day, after enjoying the incredible traditional breakfast of the village, we will begin our excursion to Vytina. Nestled in the verdant land of Arcadia, the picturesque village of Vytina is a popular tourist destination all year round. At an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level, this charming village is the ideal destination for nature lovers.
Vytina is famous for its traditional stone-built houses and the beautiful and spacious central square, dominated by the imposing church of Agios Tryphon. Walking through its streets is like taking a step back in time, with each place revealing a piece of authentic Greek mountain life. In the village we will have free time to visit, dine and see various impressive sites. Finally, our journey will end in the afternoon and evening, leaving lasting memories.

● This is a private tour. Only your group will participate. The pick-up time is adjustable upon your request. Your personal driver will pick you up and return you to the same place or to the point you prefer.
